Software · Data · Knowledge
Den Ouden Consultancy turns complex problems into clear structures, and clear structures into products people use: realtime audio, living stories, live diagrams and practitioner papers.
HOW A SOLUTION TAKES SHAPE
What we build
Each one started as a model on paper: what goes in, what comes out, and what must never leak in between. Designed, built, hosted and supported in-house.
A complete digital signal processor, in a browser tab.
Plug in a guitar, bass, keys or mic and play through 65 effects, several rigs at once. Name a song and it sets up the sound. Every effect is open maths you can rewrite while you play, and your audio never leaves your device.
You talk. Claro draws.
Claro listens to a design session and draws the architecture, the process, the data model and the decisions while you talk. What is still open shows dashed; a contradiction stays marked until the room settles it. Leave the meeting with the diagrams already done.
04 · Knowledge papers
Practitioner papers for leaders, architects and engineers: real cases, honest trade-offs, a “when not to use this” section, and tools you can use on Monday. Single and team licences.
All papers on Gumroad ↗How we work
Find the structure underneath first. The code follows from it, and stays changeable because of it.
What is unclear or disputed should show, early, while the right people are still in the room.
No accounts where none are needed. Your sound, your story, your meeting stay yours.
From the first sketch to hosting and support, we own the whole line, so nothing is lost between hand-offs.
About · Founder
For more than twenty-five years, Ingolf has turned tangled systems into ones people can understand, trust and change.
His instinct is to look for the model underneath: how the data, the software and the people around them actually fit together. He moves easily between altitudes, from a sketch of a whole landscape to the low-level code that makes one piece of it run, and between people, bridging business and engineering across many countries and cultures. Teams that work with him end up seeing the same picture, and able to carry on without him.
A physics-leaning mind with a lifelong pull towards abstraction now goes into products of his own: signal processing in realtime, stories written as they are read, conversations that become diagrams, and papers that put hard-won practice on the page.
